Womens Leadership Advantage originated in 2009. Stirred by the words of Chuck Pierce for women in the Northwest, a small group of women began meeting weekly to pray and obtain the heart of God. We gathered to draw close and hear what the Spirit was saying. If God was about to do something, we didn't want to miss it!
Our time in prayer for more than three years now was not in anticipation of the vision for Womens Leadership Advantage. And yet, it began to unfold! Vision took shape overriding our exasperated plea for life mentors.
Through assorted words, including the words of the Psalmist, God revealed a remnant of women in waiting. Women whose hearts were stirred by a noble theme... (Psalms 45:1-3). Their tongues are the pen of a skillful writer and yet, they are without the tools to fulfill His purposes for them on the earth. The challenge of God was to be the mentor we were crying out for... dare to assert our gifts and speak encouragement to unfulfilled hearts.

While hiding out in caves, feeling overlooked, alone, forsaken and abandoned, God enabled us to see with our hearts numerous women in waiting, women whose tongues are filled with faithful instruction. Women looking for the help, push and inspiration of one who would dare say, "I know a woman with a gift." "She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue” (Proverbs 31:26).
It was as if God said to us, "Girlfriend, participate with Me in unlocking My dreams... the ones locked up in the heart of My women." As women and girlfriends, we are to gather together and dream big...link arms and grow a network of women, equip and position you to serve the purposes of God on earth!
